But the design could be improved: I would prefer a deeper storage space under the pull-up lid and either no drawer at all or a false drawer front. The charging valet looks very nice, and it's probably the nicest looking charging station I've seen. That way my husband's wallet and keys would fit inside the valet, presenting a much tidier appearance.
Keys, wallet and phone. It has cleared the clutter from his dresser. I gave this charging station to my husband for his birthday. He loved it. He empties his pockets after work and it holds everything.
It works, for the most part. I bought this for my husband to keep all of his electronic gadgets neatly organized. The only real problem I have is that the power strip in the back doesn't allow for the bulky plug-ins of cell phones.
But if either #1 or #2 is an issue for you too, you might consider looking for a different one. But the bigger issue for me is:#1 the power strip. I am very satisfied with the overall appearance of the product. When my wife first saw it, she said, "Its bigger than I thought." Then she said, "I guess we'll have to get used to it." Not really a ringing endoresment. Which means that it does not fit nicely within the space allotted. It fits, but not as shown in the picture. It is wooden, and the drawer will be very handy. First of all, it is large.
The outlets are too close together for the larger plugs on most cell phones. Overall I am satisfied. I just received this product yesterday. However there are a few bugs that you should be aware of. It has 4 outlets, but I am only able to use 2.In addition, once plugged in, the power strip will not lay flat.#2 while there is ample space for your cell phones, both my wife and my phone's charger is on the side of the phone, not on the bottom.
It's a nice, simple charging valet. I definitely recommend this product. What you see is exactly what you get. It looks good and is great for organizing your keys, electronics, etc.
